Carl Pope on the Environmental Movement

Hal writes:

Carl Pope wrote a response on Grist to Nordhaus and Shellenberger’s new book, and it’s worth reading. You don’t need to read the book to get value out of Pope’s essay, which is perhaps a nice barometer of where the broader environmental movement is these days, and where it’s heading. If we on the magazine staff are trying to stay ahead of the curve, this looks like “the curve” hearing some of what we’ve been writing about. What does that mean for what we write about next?
