Sandra Steingraber and Guests Discuss Thirty Years of Environmentalism, September 25

UPDATE: listen to the audio recording of this event.

This summer, on the occasion of the magazine’s thirtieth anniversary, Orion released Thirty-Year Plan, a new collection of essays featuring thirty writers each addressing one thing we’ll need over the next three decades if humans are to live happily, sustainably, and redeemably on earth.

On September 25, at 4 p.m. Eastern, 1 p.m. Pacific, join us for a special thirtieth anniversary live web event featuring columnist Sandra Steingraber and Thirty-Year Plan contributors Terry Tempest Williams, Simran Sethi, and Carl Safina. We’ll talk about the last thirty years of environmentalism and what urgently needs to happen in the next thirty.

The event is free to join, will be moderated by Orion staff, and is open to all readers and friends. Register here.

Orion hosts live web events every month. Sign up to be alerted by e-mail when a new one is announced.
