DONWOOD, artist and long-time Radiohead collaborator, has carved from the woodcuts of his mind this wordless graphic fable about the end of the world, where wild and fecund landscapes become increasingly overtaken by smokestacks and manmade mountains of another kind. But there is hope amid the ruins; if you read the book backwards, you’ll be able to see the obverse of human greed, and understand how it can be reversed.
