It’s been exactly two years today since I took this picture. We had just sold all of our belongings and driven to a city I hated to make something different of ourselves. I told my husband I’d give Nashville a chance, but if I still hated it in two years, we had to move somewhere pretty.
And now, the deadline has arrived, and a decision has to be made. I’ve grown to like how green it is here in the summer; where every little crack in the concrete is the beginning of a forest. And how Broadway gets at 6am on a Sunday morning, with it’s naked sidewalks and dark, colorful lights. I like the way it never knows what season it is, but often leans toward spring. So, I guess you’re OK Nashville. In short, I think I’ll stay.
